On 16th September, 2017, for enjoying weekend I with my friends went to Dhangpo Sheydrub Ling Monastery which lies in Nala, east of Bhaktapur. Since it lies in Nala, it is also commonly called as Nala Gumba.
It is well known that there are several monastery established in different places of Kathmandu valley and most recent of is this monastery. It has became like trend to visit such monastery lately and we are also untouched from this.
The recent notice says that is will be opened to public on Saturday only from 10 AM to 4 PM. It was about half an hour ride from Bhaktapur and we went there at noon. It was really cool place to visit once. As in other monastery, it also has a core place where Lord Buddha was placed. Monuments there are really amazing and well maintained. I must say all historical and culturally significant monuments must be preserved and well maintained. We went around this monastery, clicked some moments on camera and later ride home and I must say we enjoyed visiting here.
Every weekend should be fun and exciting like this.
